Autumn Colors

So this is just a little quick post about some autumn inspiration. I haven't exactly had time to make a full out inspiration photo/board to post here but I just would like to keep the ball rolling on this blog. I'm really into those deep burgundy, sort of rich red colors. Pretty pumpkin orange colors and some detailed fabric. I'm thinking sort of....velvet and such. Not complete velvet just touches of velvet to give some shape/depth/interest. I love the whole neon color thing but that was completely taken over by summer (not that it's a "no no" to wear neon in fall! I don't roll that way XD I think you can pull off whatever you'd like to when you want to) but my personal interests are leaning towards more rich foliage colors. Sort of expected since that's what happens every year with the clothing palette but c'mon...it's sort of hard to pull off those corduroy fabrics and deep colors when it's bright and cheery outside. I completely embrace the weather! Hope to get an inspiration photo board up soon!

Watches, Watches, and More Watches!

I know it may seem like a really strange first post but I was just perusing the Teen Vogue website when I came across this whole "watches for under $100" thing and I had to look at it. See, ever since I subscribed to Teen Vogue and got my first magazine I've been in love with two things: booties and those plastic bracelet watches made by Nixon. I just love the design and how casual they look. And then I realized that even though I tend not to wear watches a lot I really love accessories with watches on them. I don't know if it's that whole metaphor with time but something has always been compelling about beautifully designed watches. What do you think?
